On the Blackdown Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, this lovely bungalow is set in six acres of land where the owners run a small holding with horses, sheep, chickens and rare breed pigs. Children may like to help with feeding the animals during your stay. Relax and unwind in this unspoilt area, enjoying a huge variety of outdoor activities and the local village pubs.
Craigend Cottage has beautiful valley views overlooking the tranquil Upper Culm Valley and is an superb holiday home. The sunrise is only eclipsed by the spectacular sunsets that are totally free from obstruction and nights are utterly free from light pollution and town noises.
Within easy driving distance are many historic houses, a large selection of good value tourist attractions such as Crealy Adventure Park, Woodlands Adventure Park, Diggerland, West Somerset Railway,shops and pubs. If you would like to try some sporting activities, gliding, paintball and karting are available to try nearby and there are many lovely walks you can follow.
Craigend is an active farm and we produce a variety of naturally reared food and products. If you would like a welcome pack of bacon, eggs and sausages please state this requirement on your booking form. During your stay you will also be able to buy items from the farm such as sausages, eggs, bacon & ham and lamb cuts. Availability depends on the time and season.
The cottage is served by oil fired central heating and all fuel, power, bed linen (duvets) & towels are included.
All on the ground floor you will find a large lounge equipped with a DVD player, stereo, WiFi and patio doors leading to the conservatory; a dining room & fully equipped kitchen with tiled floor, 2 bedrooms (a cot is also available) and a bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, toilet & basin.
There is an enclosed courtyard with patio furniture and a BBQ. Parking is available for 2 cars.

At junction 27, take the A38/A361 exit to Tiverton/Barnstaple/Wellington. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A38 heading to Wellington. Turn right at B3391, turn left at B3391/Fore St, turn right at B3391/Hemyock Rd, turn left at Cornhill. Continue on Fore St, take a slight left at Broad St, turn left at Lillycombe Ln, turn right at Downlands Ln. The cottage will be on your right.
