Our beautiful Grade II Listed Georgian House dates back to 1848 and retains many of its original features. We are ideally situated just five minutes walk to Taunton Town Centre close to all amenities and within easy reach of many fine Inns & Restaurants. Accommodation is provided throughout the year so whatever your reason to stay we will welcome guests with individual attention and unrivalled hospitality in the heart of Somerset. Each of our bedrooms are centrally heated individually and attractively decorated to a high standard with comfortable furnishings and fittings. All rooms are ensuite with power showers luxury fitments and toiletries. Ironing facilities are available on request. Our elegant Dining Room provides a comfortable and charming setting in which to enjoy our home cooked full English breakfast. We have pleasure in offering an extended menu to your personal choice using local and fresh produce. We are also happy to cater for special diets on request. We have private off road car parking facilities available. We are strictly a non-smoking establishment throughout and regret we are unable to accept animals.
From the NorthLeave M5 at junction 25.Follow signs to Town Centre then pick up A38, Exeter ,Wellington or follow Hospital sign. Filter left at Shout Bar but keep Bp garage to your left and Sainsburys on your right. Continue past Police station and County Hall on A38.Drop down Compass Hill centre lane over traffic lights, righthand lane.Turn right at next set of lights into Castle Street Turn around in castle Street or Tesco back to lights and turn Left we are situated 12metre on left. Please pull into carpark.From the SouthLeave at junction 26, follow signs to Taunton and town centre A38.Past Somerset College to next traffic lights. Tesco's is on your left straight over we are situated 12 metres on the left , please pull into carpark.
